Born and raised in California (fourth generation!), Lauren has the true love of outdoor living in her blood.  

After earning her undergrad degree in Film Studies from UCSB, Lauren moved back east, travelled extensively and started a family, all providing a variety of adventures & perspectives. Lover of nature everywhere, and truly a lover of outdoor living, she returned to California in 2004, embarking on a career change from technology to landscape design. She earned her certificate in Ornamental Horticulture in 2009 from Orange Coast College while working for premiere designers and firms in Orange County.  

After 6 years of hands-on experience there, Lauren started her own company in 2012 in order to provide her clients with a more personalized experience. 

Through it all, only the hardiest, most low-maintenance & drought tolerant plants joined her in this busy journey, making the cut in the “survival of the fittest” and becoming her favorite plants to work with.   

Passing on this knowledge to her clients by incorporating water-wise & climate appropriate plants into the designs as they relate to each client’s unique taste & lifestyle (as well as the home site, microclimate & architecture) is important to her. 

Lauren is hands-on, enthusiastic and resourceful, thoroughly enjoying the process of meeting new clients and helping them get closer to loving their outdoor spaces
